One of two championship courses at The Shoals on the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, above Wilson Lake on the Tennessee River. Fighting Joe was the first Trail course to pass 8,000 yards from the back tees, with wide fairways bordered by dunes-like mounds and tall grasses.
